"God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress" (Psalm 46:1-3; 7)

"Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. Please pray for:

• Our Pastor and Church leadership to have wisdom in shepherding God's people
• Wisdom for our President, government and military leaders
• Unity for our nation
• The men and women serving in the military and their families
• Protection of our nation against terrorist attacks
• That people will become more open to the message of the gospel.
• Families of men and women who have lost their lives in the Iraqi war
• Boldness for believers to share their faith in Christ
